About

The True Story of a Not So Crazy Cat Lady is a new contemporary romance novel, set in the English countryside, which follows the footsteps of Harriet, a recently divorced young woman who finds redemption in a litter of abandoned kittens she rescues. It isn't until her birthday that Harriet realises she has earned the official title of Crazy Cat Lady of the family and wondering whether life is conspiring against her, she decides on a whim to go on holiday to the Lake District. There she meets Dan, the answer to all her problems, but locked in a love triangle between boy, girl and cat, how long will Harriet’s luck last? A story that will ring true for many cat lovers out there, I decided to tell the story of a cat lady from our side and remind people to think twice before they confuse caring with crazy. Inspired by my own experiences but also by a true story, I hope this book will touch your heart.

I have always been a country girl and loved animals, and although I forever pestered my parents for a pet, I didn't get my first cat until I was twenty-one. I currently live in southern France although I frequently visit England where I was born, and spend my time horse riding, studying photography and needle felting, amongst many other things. The True Story of a Not So Crazy Cat Lady is my first novel for women but I am already scribbling ideas for a second. I hope that you liked the book if you have already read it, and if you haven't that you snuggle up with your cat and enjoy the ride.
